This listing, concluded with the E.Leclerc purchasing group (SC Galec) and SIPLEC, the cooperative in charge of energy-related matters for E.Leclerc stores, reflects the retailer’s commitment to reducing the carbon footprint of its sites, in line with national energy transition objectives and regulatory requirements applicable to the tertiary sector.
Through its subsidiary DrillHeat, specialized in shallow geothermal solutions, Arverne has supported the Frouard hypermarket (Meurthe-et-Moselle) in its transition to geothermal energy. This reference agreement confirms the group’s expertise. Arverne now places its know-how at the service of E.Leclerc stores and sites to address the specific challenges of the retail sector. By harnessing a local, stable and renewable decarbonized energy source, shallow geothermal energy sustainably meets heating and cooling needs for buildings, while reducing reliance on fossil fuels and CO₂ emissions. Arverne thus contributes to the deployment of energy performance solutions tailored to the operational realities of retail stores, integrating project financing mechanisms such as Energy Savings Certificates (CEE) and the Heat Fund (Fonds Chaleur), which are key levers in the energy transition of the tertiary sector.
