rocks underground, Lithium de France will enrich its geological data and deepen its knowledge of the subsurface in northern Alsace. The data collected will complement existing data acquired during earlier 3D exploration campaigns.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0c5c2d6 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"0c5c2d6\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">More than 750 km\u00b2 explored in northern Alsace since 2022<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-8b9ea6c elementor-widget__width-initial elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"8b9ea6c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Since 2022, the teams of the Lithium de France project, deployed by Arverne, have been running large-scale exploration programmes drawing on leading technical and scientific expertise.<\/p><p>Detailed knowledge of the subsurface is an essential step for any heat and geothermal lithium production project. With more than 750 km\u00b2 already explored and more than \u20ac12 million invested, the company stands as the only French operator to have explored such a large area.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1fb9d43 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"1fb9d43\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Two complementary measurement methods from the air<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-805d959 elementor-widget__width-initial elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"805d959\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>This new campaign relies on advanced technologies that measure geological properties invisible to the naked eye. Two complementary methods are used, explains Pierre-Henri Roche, geophysicist engineer at Lithium de France: \u201c <em>First <\/em><em>gravity gradiometry, which detects variations in rock density: the instruments used measure tiny variations, in three dimensions, in the Earth\u2019s gravitational <\/em><em>field caused by differences in density between rock types. Second, magnetometry, which analyses variations in the Earth\u2019s magnetic field linked to the nature of the rocks.
